Got into weigt training the summer before my junior year of HS football. I was a sprinter/running back/defensive back/kick returner. I wanted more muscle, I was around 220 pounds at that time.

Other than those 8 weeks (pushups, pullups) of boot camp, I've been lifting ever since. It's not something ya do, it's who you are.

I tried the gym thing, it didn't work. Too much standing around, too much chit chat and too $$$$. So I bought me a gym (more or less, yep, garage).

Alternate body parts, working out all but Sunday. Can't image life without the muscle. So many times my look stopping things before they got started.

Here's a great exercise for your biceps. Something all us fat fucks work on, haha!!!!!!!!

Take a dumbbell (10-15 pounds because strict motion is needed) now take a knee. With the dumbell at arms lenght across your other leg lift about 6 inchs, now hold and count to five., then another six inchs and count to five, now another.....

No set n' reps, ya just go until you can't do any more. Obviously alternating arms.

The goal of all fat slobs is big bulging biceps, hahaha!!!!!!!!!!!

I don't workout my arms, they get too large on their own. Personally, half my time is spent doing cardio. I do judge manlets that look like a box while never stepping foot in the cardio room.

Typically a group of brown guys. Last night guy jumps on top of the curl rack. WTF.....I just ran and can barely finish my back workout I'm so gassed and this idiot is doing arms with his 5 homies.

Why talk total shit? Trust me guy unless you lift you are not as strong as those who do, simply common sense. I take off the month of December, when I start back up in January, I have already lost some strenght, it takes me a couple weeks to get back to where I was.

If you think you can do...0...and match a guy who bangs/clangs weights 4-6 times a week, you're crazy.

Worked in a new exercise today given to me by a power lifter to help eliminate catch points on my bench when going heavy. It's a modified dumbell press, but laying on the ground instead of on a bench. Lay an exercise mat on the ground and lay down on it with the mat turned where it's parallel to you shoulders. As you do the presses you can only as deep as your elbows touching the mat...which is about where people get caught with fatigue when benching. Use a weight that's just heavy enough to get good triceps fatigue but doesn't kill you to lock it out, since it's more of a muscle conditioning exercise. 3 sets...10-12 reps.

i been going hard in the gym lately. my focus has been on my legs and so far, a lot of gains. my teardrop is starting to get hella definition.

my bench is going way up, too. i was weak as fucc on bench but i'm up to pushing 235 easy. i want to get to 250 by the end of the month.

Legs are more genetics than anything else. They will get a little bit bigger and you will see more definition(you should squat anyway because it's one of the best lifts on the planet), but they aren't going to blow up like you see on some of those quadzillas.

M Stak is good on a bulk, you'll see nice size/strength results if you add a substantial caloric increase, it really requires a lot of calories to see optimal results, from my experience..

Not always, if you are doing more aerobic type exercises. You stop with the running and that sort of thing and just concentrate on lifting you'll make gains without a change in diet.

Any period where I have to decrease eating is terrible, tbh..especially a day like today here in Toronto, nicest day in months, walking outside all morning/afternoon, wanted to get a beer outside or at least some ice cream or something, but doesn't fit my macros for today..

Stopped excersising for a while now and got to 220 pouns.. Which would be fine given I am 6'3 but it's all gotten to my belly and quads (well, quads area)... Used to be in pretty good shape 2-3 months ago, although was never really ripped/buffed up..Any tips?

so last week i fucked around and put up 250 on the bench for the first time. 250 is a lot to me because i used to hate the bench and never went over 200. only a month back in the gym consistently and i already got 250. now my goal is to get up to 275 by the end of may or early june.

i've been doing the natty thing for so long its time to start juicing. my dealer sent me this pic yesterday

I stopped heavy lifting two years ago.

Started 140lbs went up to 185 after a year and decided to go down to to 155 again.

I've always been naturally skinny so i prefer the lighter feel.

Went from benching 100 to 200+ and then back to 150lbs.

I love the lighter feel..

Yea, I stopped using pre workouts a few months ago. Is tough at first because your body gets used to working out with them. After the initial shock to your body though it feels great not using them, hear doesn't beat out of your chest and shit.

Yea, way to jittery. I'm not really a fan of the jittery/tingle feeling in the first place. I used to use some musclepharm brand stuff called assault. Felt like it gave me the extra energy, but didn't speed up my heart to much or make me feel all jittery. It didn't have alot of caffine.

Started at 226...all gut. I cycling outside for 6-8 months to lose the weight and got down to about 185 and started strength training. Been lifting heavy for 8 or so years now. I got up to about 215 then then started watching my diet more closely and it helped me tighten down. I've been hanging out at 200-205 for about a year and a half.

It's complete opposite for me. On my first day of lifting I was at 134lbs (5ft 11' 3/4), textbook ecto. Dirty bulked up to 185 in ~15 months, much of it going straight to the gut. Cleaned up my diet after that and I'm sitting at 170 now.

The last five years or so I've gotten into working more on my cardio conditioning than I ever did. Big muscles are nice but what really matters once ya get past 40 is being in shape and being able to run. So I now lift MWF run/bleacher steps/skip rope/a weird jumping jack I do on TTS...with Sundays off.

The bottom line is NEVER EVER EVER miss a workout....EVER~~~~~~~~

And, you MUST have all ya need at home or close. I run the bleachers of a HS down the street and run on the track, obviously there and back.

I've got friends that are fat shits that have trophies too. They were good at sports back in the day and now they let themselves go. Even if those trophies are yours...they don't do a thing to validate any of your claims about how you look.

You know a lot about sports. So do a lot of other people who are fans. Being able to read and acquire knowledge about a subject you have a great deal of interest in doesn't mean you were a meaningful participant. There are sportswriters/bloggers/analysts all over the country that know sports inside and out yet they never made it off the bench in a HS game. They love the game and because of that they study it. Studying sports and having a lot of knowledge about sports doesn't do a thing to validate any of your claims about how you look.

I'm 6-2 272 pounds today, have weighed as much as 284. Got into track and football as soon as I could. A lifelong fan of both. Ran track every year of HS and played football from 7th grade on, then on the naval base team then in the City flag (15 years] league. Played in three HS alumni games. All that time I lifted or did what I could. I was a star sprinter, running back, kick returner and a cornerback. I had offers from Fresno St, CALPOLY, Bakersfield State, Chico State and Northern Arizona. But, I promised my Grandfather I;d be a navy man like the rest of the family. While in the navy I met a guy who sold me on being an insurance salesman in his fathers company, he lived in Modesto. So while in I studied to get my license. I passed the test and the day I left the navy I had a job.

Now I look like what 52 years (started at 15) of lifting looks like. I could toss you around like a rag doll little man, trust me. I have no reasons to lie about anything I;m just not going to waste my time on a fucking prick like you, you got that asshole?
