View Full Version : How long do you leave leftovers in your fridge before you won't eat it

I like the under 5 days rule.

Anything over 5 is probably still safe to eat, but i would just rather not.

Three days max..

But really it depends on what food

Some for a week, some only a day..but mostly 2 or three days

Next day. 2 days tops.

Pizza

Up to 3 days.

Pizza reheats great. Not by microwave though. Oven heat that bitch and it will taste good as fuck.

We're bad with leftovers..they usually get tossed.

Best way to reheat pizza is stove top skillet, cover it and put it on medium. The crisp comes back and the cover reheats the cheese + toppings

even though cold pizza is great.

It really depends. Maximum 3-4 days I guess, only 1-2 days if milk or so is included...

One day, unless I am purposely saving something for something else I have planned. But I really don't have many leftovers because I have 3 teenagers and because I deliberately avoid cooking too much food.
