How can anyone be so dedicated to slurping off someone who they've never met, just 'cause they play sports real good?

I don't, plus i don't get all frothy with semen at the mouth every time someone dares to insult his honor. NBA superstars don't need white knight treatment.

Truth Bomb Alert:

But how could that possibly be done? Doesn't the league's financial system dictate certain limitations?*
Well, okay: Look at the [2011] lockout. That lockout was made to restrict the Lakers. It was. I don't care what any other owner says. It was designed to restrict the Lakers and our marketability.*

The Lakers specifically, or teams like the Lakers?*
There is only one team like the Lakers. Everything that was done with that lockout was to restrict the Lakers' ability to get players and to create a sense of parity, for the San Antonios of the world and the Sacramentos of the world. But a funny thing happened, coming out of that lockout: Even with those restrictions, the Lakers pulled off a trade [for Chris Paul] that immediately set us up for a championship, a run of championships later, and which saved money. Now, the NBA vetoed that trade. But the Lakers pulled that (bleep) off, and no one would have thought it was even possible. The trade got vetoed, because they'd just staged the whole lockout to restrict the Lakers. Mitch got penalized for being smart. But if we could do that...
Curious about your thoughts on this quote midnightpulp or your alt account (Clipper Nation)

Your post wreaks of hypocrisy. I'm sure I could dig up posts that are contrary to the BS you just posted. No worries - I won't. :)

Not sure, but it is highly plausible. Cavs and Mavs owners were openly pissed. They led the charge towards The Veto! that gifted the Kang, Mavs and the Sp*rs the last couple of rangs.

Going back to The Gift! - even Pop was openly pissed. Yet many farmers openly call Mitch "cupcake" - especially midnightpulp.

We would have had a 24 year old CP0, a 24 year old D-FAG, and 31 year old Kobe. We would have been in the hunt. No doubt.

Are any ST posters in there reppin?
Couple years ago someone (was it you?) informed me that a 'Ground poster who claimed he was Artests brother was bitching about an ape photo i put up of Metta World Dumbshit. I think one of us here may have posted the photo over at Lakers Ground.

Anywho, any one reppin over there? I realize their Kobme moderators take down anything that does not praise him ASAP. But surely we could get some good shit in, right?

One thing that shocked me about LG was their hatred for Lebron is greater than for the spurs. There was one thread put up there a day or two ago about who they root for if came down to spurs vs cavs in the finals. The majority said the spurs and stated it didn't matter if Duncan got 6 because Kobe is still better but if Lebron gets another the media will put him ahead of Kobe.
