Damn. If true, that sucks. Remember being really happy for him when the Spurs won in 1999. He was really good with those early 90s Blazers teams. Will never forget going to the Meadowlands in like 1991 or 1992 to see Blazers/Nets, being near the floor for warmups, and watching Jerome explode on dunks; it was remarkable to see up close.

RIP Jerome.

He was a very solid player for those Blazer teams he played for during the 90's. Will also never forget how overjoyed he was when the spurs won it in '99. It sucks to see a member of the first title team die this soon.

We look not
at what can be seen,
but we look at what
cannot be seen
For what can be seen
is temporary,
but what cannot
be seen is eternal
For we know that
if the earthly tent
we live in is destroyed,
we have a building
from God,
A house not made
from hands,
Eternal in the heavens,
In the heavens

Sad news.

Loved watching the guy play back in the day.

He was good as a Blazer.

The news I've heard is that he had a blood clot in his leg that moved to his lung and killed him. Very sad.

Could the blood clot be a result of complications with the knee surgery he had recently? Not sure if there's any correlation there
