Russell Westbrook is under contract with the Oklahoma City Thunder until 2017, but it's never too early for fans to try to recruit players for their favorite team.
Earlier this season, a Los Angeles Lakers fan pleaded with Westbrook to play for L.A. during a game. Westbrook adamantly shot down the fan, but will he be able to say no to Snoop Dogg?
After seeing Westbrook win the 2015 NBA All-Star Game MVP award, Snoop Dogg took to Instagram to coax the UCLA product back to Los Angeles. The rapper used a photoshopped image—created by Bleacher Report's Ishaan Mishra—to show Westbrook how good he would look in purple and gold.
Westbrook won't be a free agent for at least a few more seasons. During that time, Lakers fans are going to do whatever they can to try to convince Westbrook to come back home.
