It's pretty apparent to anyone who's consistently watched the Spurs play this season that they are not playing well. The Spurs barely qualify as a playoff team, let alone championship contenders. Injuries were an excuse early on, but a lack of players early has morphed into a lack of focus and effort (the latter being inexcusable). If things don't drastically change, then we're probably looking at a first round exit. However, no matter the outcome of this season we Spurs fans should still feel blessed.
Three years from now the Spurs will take the court and #21 won't be out there. We won't see the perfect screens, the surgical post moves, the perfect timing, or even the cheering from the bench. In fact it's likely that we Spurs fans will never see another player as special as Timmy, so for now just take this time to enjoy watching a top 10 player of all time do his thing for what may be one last ride.
:bobo (<= would be nice if this Pillsbury Dough Boy got his act together though...tbh)
