GSW with HCA will be tough to beat. OKC, if healthy, are also scary. Don't think Memphis is quite there yet.

I'll say GSW vs Cavs Finals.

Even with all the upgrades OKC will still not get out of the west. Durant's injury woes seem like they will eventually make him ineffective over time and plus 99.9 percent of the time you don't get to the finals going every round without HCA.

this WC is actually kinda similar to 2008-2009 tbh. Warriors clearly have best record and point differential while everyone else is hovering in 50-55 win territory, the Warriors are on pace for 65+ (like the Lakers in 2009.

I want to believe the Warriors are going to be like the 2011 Spurs who started 50-9 iirc and then got buttfucked in the playoffs but they actually play pretty good defense. It's their offense I don't trust in the half court but Bogut and the emergence of Draymond Green makes them a pretty formidable defensive team, imo

GS had to go absolutely ape shit from 3 to pull away from the Spurs who were on a back to back. No way Curry/Klay shoot that we'll for 16 games.

I hope you are right but they have been doing that all year. I have watched a lot of their games this year and the way they beat Spurs is the way they have won against everybody else.

Even then, PG led teams don't win titles. Teams don't win titles with a PG as their best player. It just doesn't happen. Besides Magic/IT.

Warriors or Memphis. Nobody else is close.

* Portland has no depth and their two best players are a chucker guard and a big with a broken hand
* Houston's center is injured and their best player relies on ref bailouts on every play which he won't get in the playoffs
* Clippers have poor shooting which will doom them in any postseason, plus they have like 3 players who can't hit a FT to save their life down the stretch
* Dallas ... obviously not even close to being a contender so I won't even waste any words on that trash team
* OKC is a very strong team but they'll be playing on the road way too much and also have a horrendous coach who will lose them at least 1-2 close games in any series
* Spurs are old as shit and won't hold up through the playoffs. Literally all 3 of their Big 3 are having shit seasons and Kahwi doesn't look ready to carry a team of TOSBs on his own yet
* Suns gave up and won't make the playoffs

Warriors if they don't run into the Grizzlies, Grizz if they play the Warriors. They say jump-shooting teams can't win titles, but the Mavs did it in 11. Warriors will also have HCA.

If not SA (not convinced about that) then OKC. I think the Warriors will scare people real good, but I think they'll have a hard time overcoming 50 FTA a night from OKC. Dallas just got scary too.

You're probably never going to see anther shooter like Dirk though who's that tall and shoots that accurately. He was other-worldly in the playoffs. JT got hot from 3 as well, people tend to ignore that.

Like that Mavs team, the Warriors are very good defensively and well-coached. They haven't made a deep run yet, but they've been in a few playoff series now, so stage fright won't be an issue for them. Their backcourt to me is an overwhelming matchup advantage, just like Dirk's unique skillset. They are definitely contenders, but I think Memphis can bully them up front with Gasol and Z-Bo.
