Spurs will not lose to the warriors this playoffs.
Sure spurs might lose in the 1st round vs anyone else :lol But not the warriors.
Spurs would beat the warriors in the playoffs. Book it...

I think OKC will beat them in the first round honestly. But with the way Spurs have been playing this season just getting to the second round seems difficult. Not giving up but fuck they need to focus and regain some confidence. They look like the 2010 Spurs out there

Disagree. Their only defender is bogut and he's got his hands full with Duncan.

Matter of fact fellas. I'm gonna hope spurs drop to 8 seed so we end little Elian Gonzales run immediately :lol
Spurs are beating the #1 seed

Green is a legit DPOY candidate so I disagree there. Thompson and Iguodala are good perimeter defenders also.
Bogut will probably tear his ACL any day now though, so no need to worry

Duncan who's shooting 3-7? Yeah.....
I think Kerr will manage Bogut. He knows he is important to their playoff run. Speights and Lee can play center, Draymond Green for short spells
For me it's more about the Spurs playing at a decent level in general. They can most certainly beat the Warriors if they are playing somewhere in the vicinity of there peak, but in the form they are in now, the Warriors would wipe the floor with them.

Sure bogut does a great job on Duncan. But that keeps him busy.

Yeah, even younger Duncan had his hands full with Bogut. Sheed and Bogut are the best Duncan defenders ever, tbh.

I would say one thing that is questionable is this teams mental toughness. When the game was close you saw them implode with Curry and Kerr getting techs. They are use to blowing out teams. The playoffs is a different animal. We'll see if they can keep their composure when the games are close.

Spurs basically jacked off for 3 quarters and were still in the game until late 3rd quarter.

Best 500 bucks I ever spent to be in the building for game 5. That doesn't mean this version of the Spurs doesn't suck right now.

I don't see Golden State as a threat. OKC would beat that team, tbh.
The Spurs right now can't beat anyone though.

Right now, I don't see the Spurs as a threat. More and more teams are adapting to OKC's style of offense and the Spurs are being run into the ground a la 2010 Phoenix Suns. They're too slow to react, they turn the ball over constsantly, they lose all the loose balls, they can't hit free throws, can't hold teams to one shot and they can't defend the paint or guard the perimeter. It looks like a bunch of dads playing a pickup game against their sons.

Regular season champs. They'll have HCA, but Spurs already proved they can win in Oracle.. Same can't be said for them.

Well what can you say about them turning a close game into a blowout? Aren't you going to give them any credit for that? They went on a rampage after those two techs on Kerr and Steph.

This wasn't a blowout, imo. Winning by at least 20+ is what I consider a blowout for basketball.

Warriors are actually a good matchup for the Spurs. Spurs have 2 great perimeter defenders, Warriors offense comes from 2 perimeter shooters. Warriors are relatively small besides Bogut, Spurs are kinda plodding.
Teams like the Clippers scare me bc they are too big (a la the Bynum-Gasol-Odom Lakers) for this team.
And the Thunders are just damn good.

Didn't believe the hype their defense was getting, but ffs they weren't letting the Spurs get open looks from deep. Paint is wide open though

One thing about the Spurs is they have God on their side. When the playoffs roll around, key players on other teams get injured and that's the work of Jesus. Say what you want, but Jesus is a Spurs fan.

All can be reduced to a single point, how these Warriors' young, inexperienced players will play the game mentally in playoffs, also their vets aren't exactly a successful playoff group ...
