"We shot very poorly and they didn't," San Antonio's Manu Ginobili (http://m.espn.go.com/nba/playercard?playerId=272) said. "We didn't play that bad. They were just inspired and we couldn't make shots."

Uh, both teams shot 48%, Manu. And yes, the team did play that bad.

I never see a road game post game interview.

It wasn't really about that, outside of 30% shooter Iguodala raining 3s:lol..

The game was decided by transition points..way too many turnovers that led to transition scores for Golden State, you aren't going to win games when you are getting obliterated by fastbrek points..

Agreed but also poor transition D where you can fault some of our better defenders in Green and TD. But poor take on Manu's part.

Same crap every night by these guys as an excuse, they shot well and we did not or whatever it is. It seems this year they just shrug off losses to that and not the fact they are not playing D nor executing well for nearly 48 minutes on the offensive end, in spurts yes but overall NO. They need to tighten up on the D end bigtime and take care of the ball more and ball movement like last years would help some IMO.

Our horrid defense (that carried over from last game), combined with our inability to get any scoring from our backcourt, is what cost us the game.

Manu's not the best at judging performance. How many times have we also heard him say he didn't think he played all that bad when he was terribly bad.

:lol Manu with the sugarcoat... the defense just wasn't up to par... when you give up 30+ pt quarters, it's tough to win

the spurs shot 6 for 19 from the three point line while the warriors shot 17 for 33.

they outscored us by 33 points from beyond the arc and we lost by 11.

Please, sir, stop challenging these chicken littles with facts.

Don't you realize, all is lost!

I think they're reaching and the refs letting them was the difference. They literally reached at the ball every time someone had it and were constantly getting strips, nobody on this planet can convince me that all those strips were clean. It was one of the most annoying games I've watched all year.

Sure, but we still shot 48% just like they did and many of those threes the Dubs took were uncontested. And the final box score may show we lost by 11 but obviously it only ended up that close due to garbage time.

They shot 11 more threes. That is the lead right there. But GS always shot well- so the defense must have been bad
