View Full Version : tbh, is the eye infection still bothering Kawhi?

I'm not big on excuses, but dude looks worse than Manu shooting freethrows right now... (heck, Kiwi is 5-11 from the FT line the last 3 games).

Could it be a flare up on his eye, tbh? Maybe that's why he doesn't want to drive as much, not to get other players infected?

I know who he can spread the pinkeye to, won't even affect their court vision.

If the Spurs had a competent SF, I would consider moving him to the bench because he's underwhelming on both sides of the ball. His self confidence is shot. Pop needs to lie to him some more.... "You're the future of the franchise." " You're the future no. 1 option."

Historically, Kawhi plays much better without the Duncan/Parker combination, tbh..

Not sure about why Manu missed his FT, maybe focus, fatigue...

But if a 23 years old player is overcoming his shooting slump, his offense is working against the #1 in the league, his shots are falling, 74%FG...

What would you do?

1-Bench him after 19 minutes?
2-Play him long minutes to let him get rhythm and gain confidence in his offensive game again?

If you can correctly answer this ^, you'll answer your own thread's question, too.

I would probably trade him for Mo Williams, but I'm no GM, tbh

Does anyone have a copy of the Philip Seymour Hoffman basketball gif? Maybe if they all start yelling out "Rain ball!" everytime they shoot a free throw. :pctoss "Rain ball!"

Infecting other players might be the only chance the Spurs have right now ...

Since it's obvious that Parker-Leonard isn't a compatible team tandem, and Tony's contract makes him untradeable, I'd trade Kawhi for picks.
We would be so lucky if pick a top #1/#2 like Kwame or Darko Milicic...

But Mo is a good, refreshing option, too. He's replacing Kemba now, maybe we can get both.

IIRC, Mo dropped 50 in a game this season... watch out!
