We need him to dunk on Ibaka again to light the candle, just like last year...

No. They just need to get back to out-executing other teams.

They weren't out-executing last year either... Bad slump. Shriveling up. Cowering in fear. Joseph woke them up. We need a repeat.

Are we talking about Cory Joseph, or some other yet to be identified elite prospect Joseph?

Last year spoke otherwise. Took one play to turn it all around.

I like Cojo, and he had some solid games, but the Spurs are 7-7 with him starting this season...

I do think some changes need to be made in the starting lineup and bench though. We've discussed bringing Tony off the bench, for example...

The Spurs were 7-7 with mass injuries, though..

That Joseph/Green/Manu/Duncan team that went through literally the toughest schedule in NBA history in December was playing better than the current Spurs are playing, unfortunately..

I was a Joseph hater prior to this season, as you know, and although I still don't like his style of play, his energy and aggression is a nice change of pace for a team that is currently playing without energy and seemingly without motivation..

It's also discouraging that Patty Mills missed most of this season, we knew he would have to shake off some rust for a few weeks, but Pop immediately decided to cut his minutes, for whatever reason, rather than allowing him to establish a rhythm..

^^^^^^ This.

Patty was a monster last season. He started out as so-so when we got him. Went beast-mode by pure overachievement. The shoulder/rotator issue has set him back to less than he was when he signed with us in the first place.

Patty can't even complete a pass at this time. Worst player in the league when his shot is off tbh
