All of the bad contracts in the NBA, and Spurs fans call TP's contract an "albatross."

Most dysfunctional big market operations have about 2 or 3 contracts (for guys who don't even play) that make Parker's look like chump change.

Perspective, guys, perspective.

Parker is a made man, he won't be traded. Now hang up the call and see if Mitch can work something out with you.

Could be the Bulls/Nets and have that much committed for the next two years on Rose/DWill. Or the Lakers having that much committed to Nick Young/Kobe combined (though only one more season for Kobe).

Lots of bad contracts out there. It's rare that we have one of them but $14mm/yr isn't the end of the world. $20mm/yr is.

Parker REALLY wants to be here.

Parker talked about his extension with Jeff McDonald of the San Antonio Express-News (http://www.expressnews.com/sports/spurs/article/Spurs-Parker-receives-three-year-extension-5663787.php?cmpid=twitter-premium&t=2b709e2f92927fc3fb): "I want to play for the Spurs my whole career, and be a Spur for life. I love San Antonio and want to live here when my career is over. I love the city, I love the people and our great fans. I couldn't be happier."

Yeah, it's bad. Look at the thread when the deal was announced. There are some dumb fucks on ST that called it a great deal and a "steal" for the Spurs.

IIRC, Kobe said similar things when he signed that $50 mil extension. Heroballers with the lies and bullshit about loving the fans.

That's so stupid... Not because everyone does something bad then it's ok for you to commit it also.

since parker has his guaranteed money, is it possible he's trying to fuk over Leonard's and want him gone? I mean, he's showed us before he wants to be the face of the spurs and would sabotage his own teammates in an nba finals just to get more shots..

Thread isn't about 3P% or stats, there are plenty of stat threads to post in. BTW not even sure what point is trying to be made other than even with a career year shooting from 3P Parker is still playing awful, is that supposed to be encouraging?
