That is what every top coach in any sport says.
So shut the fuck up about Pop benching and screaming at Green, there are players where you need to be rougher on them, there are players where you need to say things in another fashion. If it wasn't for Pop and Spurs, Green would be freezing his ass in Slovenia or some other scrub league. Yes, I know he also contributed to us and I love him, but SHUT THE F**K UP and stop trying to over analyse shit

I agree on everything besides the "Green would be in Slovenia" without the Spurs part. Danny would make open three's for any team. He's always been a good defender as well

Yeah, Green was going to stick in the NBA no matter what.
But why the meltdown?

There is no situation in which it makes tactical sense to sub Belinelli in for Green for any reason other than exhaustion. Yelling at Green for missing a rotation and subbing Beli in is like selling your car because it has bad gas mileage and buying a chariot.

Up 30+ it probably does. The only thing players love besides money is minutes. Denying them is a message: don't miss a rotation. Doing that against OKC/GS could cost you a game.

OTOH turnover after turnover (Ginobili in Giveaway 6 and many games this year) results in Popped never yelling nor pulling him. Bullshit.
