In how many games will teams start to position themselves for the first round bye known as the rockets?

Harden has been a proven playoff choker, no legit big men with Howard out, mcfail as coach, and the worst starting pg in the west playoffs.

Lower seeded teams will probably start jockeying to get them in the last 5 to 10 games or so imo

Rockets would face the Clippers if the season ended today. Interesting matchup.

Doesn't matter. Might as well be talking about positioning in the NFL against the Browns.

don't think the lockets have the worst starting PG in the west playoffs, Mavs are going to make the playoffs too imho.

Not sure about the Rockets but I think Harden will own this post season.

Only Spurs and OKC, anyone else rockets should have a good chance at advancing

Houston, Portland and Clippers are pretty much in the same level. Near playoff contenders but not quite.

3 Dynasties of perenial playoff choking teams. With not much end in sight. each of them could get out of the first round if they face the correct opponent.

Spurs matchup poorly vs. the Rockets. But not by much. Really doesn't matter who Spurs face as long as Spurs can avoid GSW and MEM in the 1st round.

So to answer OP, I don't think teams really think of Houston as a lesser team than say Portland or Clippers. Don't think there's going to be a playoff positioning vs. Houston tbh. A legit contender should beat any 3 of those.

Rockets would play the Mavs if the playoffs started today, not the Clippers.

Rockets are talented, but damn, they're so predictable. However, they can go really hot from deep which is going to be a problem for any team in the West. Regarding GSW, I think they should start losing the number one seed now because OKC is going to tap that ass in 6.
