You're still sick but you are going out tonight? Why?! Who knows at what stage of communicability you are and you really do need the rest. Nothing helps like resting and sleeping, every minute you can. It gets boring but going out when you aren't well isn't that great either.

Yeah, I can agree with that. "Flu" is just an easier way for people to convey they're fucking feeling like a steaming pile of shit..

I don't even think I had the flu, as I didn't have the stomach virus part of it, just cold symptoms and fever. It was a nasty strain though, I never get a fever from a cold, and my two year old son started to develop a pneumonia from it which luckily we caught before it became a bigger issue.
