View Full Version : Predict the six game homestand

W-Sacramento
W-Denver
W-Chicago (Originally had this as a loss, but with no Jimmy Butler now I predict we win now)
W-Toronto
W-Cleveland
W-Minnesota

6-0 tbh, and we move up to fifth in the west.

Don't want to look too far, but there could be a chance the Spurs could have a nice 11 game winning streak going into the ATL game on March 22nd hopefully. *knock on wood*

Would be nice to be fourth in the west by the end of the month, right on Houston's overrated ass.

If you extend that stretch by 3 games, we get @NY, @Milwaukee, and Boston.

We really should go at least 7-2 over that 9 game stretch. Would be fantastic if we could manage to go 8-1 or even 9-0, but given the way this season has gone, I'm sure as hell not predicting that.

After those 9 games, things get infinitely harder...so let's hope they take care of business. This is our last "easy" stretch of the season. We need to take advantage.

Spurs really need to take care of business and go 5-1 in order to make up any ground in the Western Conference. I can see them realistically going 4-2 (Cavs and Bulls), anything worse would be a disappointment.

Lebron's our bitch unless we miss free throws left and right within the last minute, turn the ball over like crazy in the final quarter, bench TD within the last minute, and promptly fail to secure a defensive rebound that leads to a miraculous three. Yup, that's what it has to take for Lebron-led teams to beat us even when he forces management to buy their way into the Finals like he's done again this year.

Losing to a Bulls team with no Rose and no Butler would be a disgrace, and literally drive a stake into this season.

I don't see how that would be surprising. The Spurs have lost to worst teams already, most notably the Jazz and Lakers.

5-1. Circling Cleveland as the loss. 6-0 isn't entirely out of the realm of possibility. Would be an 8 game win streak before heading on the road to play @ Knicks,@ Milwaukee and Boston.

Bulls being held together with duct tape. Rose and Butler out. Hold Gasol in check their offense will sputter.

Raptors are a poor defensive team, we should have beaten them in Toronto had we not blown the game.

go 5-1 and you're probably a 5th seed..

Go 6-0 and you're a game behind the 3rd..

Go 8-0 ( realistic since they play two shitty east teams after the homestand) and you get the 3rd seed.

5 days ago, the Spurs looked like they were completely done and this thread was melting down like it was 6. Now, suddenly half the board thinks we're going to go 6-0 over our next six games and grab a top 4 seed. Love it.

mainly because other teams didn't take advantage of the 4 game spurs losing streak..Only Portland maybe.

Should be 6-0 and 9-0 over next nine games. Judging by this season, I'm expecting more along the lines of 4-2 and 6-3.

You know the season will just continue to be that way, just that kind of feeling this season. Seems they get it going then stumble back and lose games they should have easily won. I would want them to go 9-0 in all reality but we know that will not happen.
Be fitting our lone loss will come to the Cavs on TNT,despite coming in with 6 game win streak.Perfect oppurtunity for Barkley to shit on the Spurs. You just know this will happen, on national TV and so on the Spurs will probably end up dropping that game. That will be the one they get blown out in too, then Charles as you said will call them old and argue with Kenny or Shaq about it.

That question was 'yes or no'. Do you think the Spurs can continue to play bad ball like that?

Of those four games, two were against WC foes that are ahead of them in the standings, and easily a loss. Do you see anyone like that in the 6 games? (y/n)

I think it was pretty clear my answer is yes, it is very likely the Spurs still continue playing like they did last week. Toronto and the Cavs are better than that Jazz team last week and the Bulls might be around the same level. 4-2 very realistic, 5-1 would be ideal. Without the playoff WC teams, the Spurs won't go on a 4 game losing streak so don't worry I already factored that in.

I really hope you are wrong because I feel like Cleveland is a team we will get up for and they will get up for us and if we can beat them (and we should) it will be major opportunity to help build some confidence and momentum moving forward into the tougher part of our schedule coming up after the homestand.
