PS4 or Xbox 1?

I'm finally buying a next gen console but I have no clue which is best. Any suggestions an honest opinions?

I haven't owned a Sony console since the PS2, but MS put so much more focus on being everything else but a gaming system, at the end of the day the games run like shit and are usually downgraded below the PS4 level to allow the framerate to be more playable. If I was buying a new console, it would definitely be the PS4.

As for the OP the answer is PS4 hands down no question. I have both and literally the only reason to even get an Xbox is for Halo if you're into it because they have no other worthwhile exclusive games compared to PS4 (Last of Us on PS4 is glorious) and their graphics are shittier. The system itself if bigger and clunkier, and unlike the PS4 controllers you can't just wire Xbox's into the console to charge as is. Plus I personally like the interface better and PS plus is cheaper slightly than Xbox live as well

the XBone doesn't deserve some of the bullshit criticism that it still gets today.. IMO people are still a little fumed over MS's shitty E3 and launch.. everyone forgets that the exact same thing happened to the PS3 back in 06.. absolutely terrible launch for Sony but they righted the ship within 3 years.

It's worth the re-buy because of the graphics. And if you play online you can just transfer your character.

What do you mean? You're already online if your system is updating.

And the updates are a one time thing.. they don't drop them very often.

You must have a weak ass connection then.

If an update is giving you fits, stay away from installing games. Those are no less than 20gb per game.

Updates are done in minutes for me.

I didn't have any problems with connections on 360.. But ps4 update for nba 2k15 took awhile. I got TWC service.

I got my PS4 from the Amazon deal so it came with GTAV and The Last of Us. So far, I have no regrets. I loved playing GTAV for the second time through and I enjoyed my first experience with The Last of Us. I also think the controller is great, and the ability to plug headphones into it is pretty cool.

Right now, there aren't many games I want. I will definitely get Bloodborne two weeks from now.

Not that PS4 is anything to write home about at 900p for this game, but LOL XB1 running at half the resolution my gaming PC from 2001 ran (1600x1200).
