I'm not so sure he gave up on the play. I don't think he purposefully took time off. He genuinely looks like he is daydreaming/confused. He definitely lost track for sure.

It's still no excuse, really. Terrible defense at it's finest.

I think he will pan out, though. Excellent 6th man or quality glue-guy.
