They're calling a "foot injury". But I saw it with my own eyes...he went down like he was shot and immediately grabbed it and had to be helped to the locker room
Nicknaming anyone "Ironman" on the Blazers was always dangerous.
Afflalo will replace him and will probably play better than playoff Matthews. Does thin out there bench though...

Thanks for starting a thread with a diagnosis in the title without there actually being an official diagnosis :tu

How about if I'm right you never post again....Bitch
Blazers probably get him at discount or for one year deal now. Stinks for him in a FA year.

Nah, it's a 9 month recovery period. Wes will beat the expected time to recover. That's who he is. It's a tough blow for sure. Wes is the heartbeat of the team. However, Afflalo is very good and a similar type of player. It will be tough sledding, but we can still pull this thing off.

But now the Blazers are back to their depth issues again. And Aldridge is going to have to suck it up one of these days and get surgery, you can tell it is definitely still bothering him.

Aldridge won't have surgery until the off-season. It's affecting him, but he's still a beast. Our depth is impacted somewhat, but it's not too bad with CJ, Gee, and Crabbe at that position.

Since Gerald Wilkins and Vinny Testaverde, a popped Achilles is a pretty easy injury to recognize. I've seen a half dozen of them and it's never been anything else. The only one that was questionable was Kobe, because he was somehow able to walk on it afterward. Never saw anyone else even put weight on the foot.
He already got paid by Portland...

You can respect how hard he works while simultaneously pointing out that practicing contested 26-foot jumpers is probably not the best use of his time.
There's a lot of shit to say about Kobe, but his work ethic in the gym and his toughness are beyond question.
Don't forget his media manipulation. That's top level right there.

That falls under the category of "a lot of shit to say about Kobe." There are a lot of ignorant Laker fans who happen to work in network sports that will happily write excuses for him. It's probably easy to manipulate slobbering sycophants who repeat whatever you want.
