Maybe even favorites

Contenders maybe, favorites hardly.

Maybe if we keep winning and playing like we have the past few games some people will start choosing us again. But if we do that, i doubt we stay 7.

While OKC is so far back, and still fighting NO to even make the playoffs, they're likely stuck at 8, we won't finish as 7.

Pels are right on OKC's heals.

I think it's wide open. Sure there are favorites, but I think all the current seeds have a chance to win the West. The Western Conference playoffs are going to be fun to watch. Usually, there's a first round series or two that are just a warmup for the higher seeded team. Not this year. (or even last year)

Sadly, as entertaining as the first round in the West will be, the East will be pathetic.

If you compare last year to this year I really don't see a team that has vastly improved except GSW. I think it will be more of the same and ultimately come down to us versus them or OKC. If we play like we did last year in the playoffs I like our chances....

Bunch of pretenders and up & comers in the west.

Not gonna happen: Thunder, Clippers, Rockets, Portland, Dallas
Got a shot: Memphis, GSW
Most Likely: Spurs (Yes - I'm a homer but I'm being realistic. If they get healthy and get their "riddem" back - think Parker saying rhythm, they'll get to finals and repeat. As well as GSW are playing, the playoffs are a whole other ballgame.

There are ~18+ games left in the season for most teams. Anything can happen between now and then.

Right now I'd say Golden State is the heavy favorite based on consistent dominance on both ends of the court. We are by no means invincible.

Everyone that makes the playoffs have a chance. Stranger things have happened. Likely? Fuck no. Possible? Yes.

If both teams get healthy their seed won't matter and I would definitely like our chances more than anyone else.
