Obviously I want New Orleans to go into the big CI and stretch the Nets out across the Big Wheel. Just rain on them Nets. Take one quarter at a time. Secure that quarter, secure that score. Then perhaps afterward get some strange wool on the way back.

If the Lakers can lose to the sinking ship in Detroit a probable win vs. Knicks later this week will "hurt" less ...

Im hoping we lose tonight and Fish and PJ go for the morale victory but I doubt it they are even worse than we are ...

Strange days

Are the Thunder out of it? Pelicans have so many key guys out and are still kicking ass on the road. Plus they have the tiebreaker over the Thunder.

Balanced b2b win for the Pels. The team didn't get in to Brooklyn till 3am last night and still handled business.

Tim is fine. He bumped elbows with splitter. Give the old man a break. We need him, but he's the best in the business at maintaining his body.

Oh, and :lol NBA. I can't see any team right now playing better than the spurs. It's really the same story as last year: nobody can match our depth, and this time Kawhi is even better. NBA = fucked.

Pelicans have been playing as well as anyone post All-Star break despite having multiple key players out. But the Spurs appear to be getting into deep playoff run form. Scary match up for anyone.

I'm pulling for the Pel's to make it. I predicted at the beginning of the season that they would, and if Davis hadn't missed games, they easily would. Dallas certainly doesn't deserve to make it, so you should still be fine. I wanna see the best big man in the league in the playoffs, not a washed-up Dirk.

Easy boss y'all the faves cuz I don't trust these pretenders to the throne but the schedule has gotten awfully light during the recent wins.

That's how it's done, folks. Look at the balanced scoring and assists spread out. Other than Stat Lovers rebounds, there were no gawdy numbers except the final score. Thunder could take a page from this.

Its real possibility with both teams making it. Would rather face Memphis than Golden State. Our defense would have trouble against the Warriors offense.

Yep, it was grand time.

I got to Nebraska in '72 at the end of the Bob Devaney run and they'd give ya 45-48 points on bets. I could not fathom that. And they'd cover every fucking week. They were an insufferable fanbase though. Much worse than anything I've seen since. I loved seeing them lose.

They had a good run, but really took off in the 90s when OU and Miami started to decline and right before FSU's dominant run.

They had huge o-lineman, huge d-lineman/LBs, and RBs who could hit a hole and go for 80 yards. Only FSU could compete with them in the 90s.

That's why I said "remember". You said it, but you conveniently forgot about that when the Spurs started back down and came up with Larry in tow. You talk about the caving of the mine, but ignore what happened after. It's what happened next that showed the mettle of the Spurs.
