probably the fact that he left to a division rival. same reason suns fans felt betrayed by steve nash, the raiders with marcus allen, etc

I agree. Its a bitch move, but probably wants to have stability at QB. He's been disgruntled for a little bit.

What pisses me off the most is all those years he had Kubiak as the coach he never bitched to the media. But as soon as he was fired and O'Brien was hired, he went on his diva trip. And then mailed it in during the season.

I do get a kick out of..."our players". All these guys are rentals, ok? If ya can get some chemistry going for a few seasons, cool.

The only thing that really matters is that coach/QB duo. They need to be solid and have some longevity.

Don't expect any team with ???? at that coach/QB combo to do shit in 2015.

Why the hate for Andre?

If anything, I'd be pissed at the Texans for simply cutting him. I'd have made that unhappy fucker play for me and like it or retire.

Of course, I'd also have drafted a real QB instead of Clowney.

Idk if he would have retired. Probably would have been a huge distraction for 10 million like last year. Plus Kubiak fucked their cap situation so bad he had to be cut if he didn't restructure.

We always think of Miami has having a lot of speed, and they do when it comes to football. Would you believe there has never been a great 100m sprinter out of the U?

When Andre Johnson was there he once won the Big East running a 10.5. To put that in perspective the worlds female record is 10.49.

The Colts once had Lenny Lyles (cornerback) out of Louisville, he was condsidered the fastest player in the league, a 9.5 guy. That was until 1964 and Bulllet Bon Hayes came into the league.

The Colts also had Curtis Dickey who is still the fastest RB to ever play in the NFL. A 10.10 guy and world ranked. To put that in perspective Jamaal Charles was a 10.18 guy, Herschel Walker 10.23.

He was never a real speed guy to begin with, when compared to those who were/are that is. He simply knows how to get open and he won't be losing that ability anytime soon.

He had speed in his prime. Up until a few years ago until he had a tendon clipped in his calf. Not a burner, but still had speed. There is a difference. Now when he is open he makes a catch and falls down in front of the defenders he can't outrun.

He had 10.5ish speed (ran that at Miami) which is good speed, nothing zooooommmm about it at the NFL level. Keep in mind we've seen Olympic sprinters playing wide receiver in the NFL.

Colts dont need speed from Johnson. They have Hilton and are developing Moncrief for that. They basically need Johnson to be a move the chains guy and show the young guys how to be a pro. I feel like he'll perform creepily similar to Reggie Wayne in that offense.

Frank Gore basically needs to not give up after first contact to be like upgrading Trent Richardson to Emmitt Smith.

This. The more I think about it, the more I think that Dre didn't care nearly as much about remaining a #1 as he said he did in discussions with Houston. He just acted like that to justify getting released. He'll be fine with a reduced role in Indy.

He complained in the media about how he caught 85 balls and was asked to take a reduced role. He probably cared some.

Just because he complained to the media doesn't mean he actually cared about staying a #1. If anything, it sort of proves my point.

I doubt it. We still have to see what they do in the draft. I think they've had a solid free agency, and I'm hoping they get a legit wide out with speed in the draft. Given all that, it still depends on what kind of production we get out of the starting QB. They did fairly well last season and they had Fitz, Mallet, and Keenum starting at different points in the season. At best I can see this team going 10-6, at worse going 7-9.

Ya that's why I said we have to wait and see what they do in the draft. I'm certain they'll draft a WR at some point and either in ILB/OLB. From what I've heard Nix will be in the mix this season, and they may sign Wilfork via free agency. I don't know if RB is a major need right now. I now Foster tends to get hurt a lot but they seem pretty high on ABlue. I much rather they use those picks to add depth to the secondary, particularly at CB.
