Does it really matter? I mean, if you learn your players shot release. Is the meter just bs to say 2k added something new?

:lol The release and the meter are based on the same skill. Stop playing on easy.

Think I misunderstood your post :lol..

The shot meter is not a necessity to someone who's been playing 2k since...2k..but it's great for someone who likes to run with a bunch of different teams..helps get you up and running a lot quicker.

I shoot with Danny Green an on the shot meter, it's yellow but it's basically kissing the white line. But he always misses. I only play with the Spurs an have down all of their shots but I miss alot on time.

The shot meter should flash green on a perfect release

That's my point. It be so close to the white line an I can't understand why is it not green. If you play with Danny Green, you'll see. But I've turned the meter off now an just shoot.

It really needs to be flawless to get perfect..it's a difference of milliseconds on getting a excellent release vs. a good one..it makes a big difference though because you don't miss excellent releases but will miss good ones.

Well it is you that we're talking about here..

Just fucking with you..we're talking about jumpshots..if it flashes white then green for perfect, you won't miss those, they're guaranteed wet.

The FT's still factor in real life percentages, regardless of the release.

Are you playing mycareer mode? I had problems with my created player in '14. The game fucks with you if you're ahead by more 10 in the closing minutes.

That's what I dont like about this game. You can be playing a perfect game and its like the game glitches and you and your team become super scrubs while you sit on your ass seeing the other team come from 20 to win it.

That's always been the thing with NBA 2k. You could play like Jordan and be up by 20 and still end up losing because the CPU turns it on in the fourth. You just beat them with execution and not turning the ball over.

Not turning the ball over is important because I think it plays into the CPU momentum if you continue turning the ball over.

I had played a great game an a guy came from 10 down an beat me in overtime. Tim an Tiago missed 5 layups as I kept getting rebounds. As soon as I kicked it out to the top of the key, Tim threw it out of bounds.

He didn't say Leonard missed two free throws or Ginobili threw it to LeBron tbh.

2K has always had the rubberband AI to keep things close, but in order to get momentum you have to run plays and play smart.

The one thing that I can say is a thing of the past is getting fucked out of a close game because the AI chooses some ridiculous animation down low when you're trying to dunk, or sliding players around in order to be in position to run an animation that will help one of the teams..that shit used to get me more than heated.
