That was shameful. 7 minutes of Taylor bringing the ball down and standing there. No play calls...nothing. They should have won that game by double digits.

Like five years ago they should have fired him

Yep...but he's in Mack territory with this loss. Time to pull the gun off the shelf and take the horse behind the barn.

We can rebound and that's about it.
The offense is so hard to watch.

Defensively no help and few fundamentals. They just try and build up the block stats.
This redundancy is tiring.
How do we get decent players? Especially considering they learn nothing.

We make the NCAA tournament, he stays.
Its great being a top 64 team with top 10 talent.

He is probably on the way out unless his contract situation is that bad.

It could be worse. You could have Josh Pastner as your coach.

They need to make sure they have a replacement first.

Penders recruited some very good players, won a lot of games, but his style was all helter skelter and no real substance. Barnes has been a very good recruiter, but he doesn't really develop his players, at least the long term ones, and the offense has been chaos for years. They seem to have no identity and lack any flow. There is so much 1 on 5 in their offense.

Texas needs to rid itself of Barnes and get someone who knows how to not just recruit, but also coach up his players.

Looks like the process might be underway.
UT fans have had to endure some of the ugliest college basketball imaginable.
I would rather lose in a viewable manner thankyoupleasemakehimgone.

"to step down"... is that different from being fired from a financial perspective?
