It's really a shame things didn't work out with him, he will always be one of my favorites. I really wish he never even left in the first place either, it would have been really cool to see him grow along the big 3 all those years.

Cocksucking refs giving him a technical for looking at Mo Cheeks. OKC getting what they deserve with Durant's foot and the Harden for nothing trade.

He was playing pretty shitty prior to getting waived so I didn't mind but yeah I wish his agent wouldn't have screwed things up the first time around.

Seeing highlights of that game still pisses me off. That was a Thunderref job of the highest order. FUCK.

Is he the one that thought he was better than Manu and Green? The one that clashed with Pop so much so that they waived him right before the playoffs started? Or was that someone else?

Worst reffing I've ever seen in an NBA game. Fuck OKC. Jack rained all over those faggots like the man he is.

He didn't really grow that much. His career 3G %age didn't improve and it's low for a chucker. I do remember his RB and AST going up a tiny bit. Weak BBIQ, very erratic chucker. The commentary back then was, about his defense, "he keeps both teams in the game". yeah, yeah, he hit some big shots, but he missed TONS more. He was good for entertainment, but that ain't basketball.

Great words and I totally agree. That is one of the most under the radar worst officiated games ever and belongs in similar territory as Game 6 WCF in 2002.

Whats funny is I remember after the game a quote saying in a great series these two teams going back and forth it's a shame that the thing that will be remembered the most is the Refs in game 6, everyone who watched saw it. That was one of the worst games I saw outside of a few games in the series with the Mavs in 06 which pissed me off severely (This game was worse than any of those). That was the worst called game and up there with the Kings and LA game in 02, period.

YES game 6 2002, that was the game I remember and talked about above. That is up there.

Games 5 and 6 of that series were incredible from an individual performance standpoint. Gino and Jax were gods. Unfortunately couldn't beat the refs.

"Fuck yo team, clown"

Jax has been the realest and the trillest Spur since day one. He was that one dude on the Spurs that had swag before it was called swag back in that 02-03 run.

His main flaw was pride, tbh. Still one of my favorite Spurs.

If he was on the floor, you bet your ass he would have had Belinelli's back quick. Jack would have probably gotten thrown out of the game for fucking up Gayless.

I still remember how Steve Blake tried something dirty on Manu, Jack went over and was all "nah, it wasn't anything serious" on him

Jack and Artest on the same team was a time bomb waiting to go off. Imagine having both in their primes, great defense, maybe they both get tossed by the 1st half.

Yep, I couldn't believe how many Spurs fans were rooting for the Thunderef against Miami after witnessing this series. :lol
