he looked bad out there in his outing. dammit, we need Magic 2.0 serviceable in order to compete IMO

because both those mentioned can actually hit the rim?

but I hear you, I'd like to see Magic 2.0 get some burn time. But that will be up to Spurs not Pop. They need to blow teams away for Magic to get in.

a one shot sample decision, how very smart :lol.. all three are liabilities on the floor, but at least KA is a rookie with potential.

KA will not get his shot until next year. Hopefully he plays decent enough early in the season to get a crack at the rotation.

He's horrible, worse than De Colo. Get over it, guys.

so was Adam Morrison at some point. :rolleyes

didn't mean he should have gotten real NBA minutes.

You must know little about basketball. there are practices and drills that teams and coaches perform between games where the players are evaluated. If Kyle is only good enough for garbage time, it's for a reason

no, adam morrison never had potential :lol. not sure you know what potential means.. i'm sure the practices say DG and beli need to have the same minutes lol..

Completely agree. Who the fuck has not shot an airball in their career? lol Dude looked a little nervous tho. The guy is an incredible playmaker. Has some of the sickest passes you'll see in today's game.

in other words, Morrison did not have the height, the wingspan, the reach that kyle has, and yet kyle has more than twice the body fat percentage. who can cover the lack of athleticism better?

I don't understand the fascination with this dude at this point. Yeah he dominated the D-League but so did De Colo and young CoJo a couple years ago, and let's be honest both those guys sucked at the NBA level. CoJo has turned himself into a player worthy of rotation minutes but he was trash during his early years. KA needs time just like CoJo did, he's not ready to contribute tbh.

well, belinelli isn't either and will never be, so why not develop a youngster instead?

If KA was a good defender then you might have a case for giving him Belli's minutes, but he's a slow footed defender that can't shoot the three. I don't like Belli either but his offense makes him a better fit than KA.

kyle anderson should be grateful his ass isn't playing overseas. austin daye, reggie williams, jeff ayers, matt bonner have real nba talent. win now, baby!

+1

However I hope he doesn't have the James Anderson ball-less disorder.. these players come in with ridiculous size for their skill sets, but lack one of the most important intangibles.. balls.

The story on kyle hasnt changed. He's got unique ball handling skills, suspect shooting, slow foot defense, wizard court vision. He'll get his chances. Unlike Cojo, deColo and other spurs Dleague scrubs, Kyle has shown the skills i listed above already in college. He's a project, but a project with a starting skillset that no other player out of college will bring.

The closest analogue would be Austin Daye coming out of draft, a guy with size and skill who just never adapted to the game. But kyle is young, Daye wasn't by the time the spurs had him. Daye was first round talent at kyle's age. Lets hope kyle is better than daye. But even if he isn't he'll get as much of chance as Daye did.

It's too late this year.

But I am glad we got him. He has great Bball intuition imo.

I was never a fan of the pick, but I would like to see him playing now with manu out. I'm not one of those people who think he can be a future 'manu replacement', and I hate his unfixable slowness.

But in regular season games I think he'll function fine. Bad defense because of his glacial movements, but at least it won't be because of mental breakdowns or uncaring like I think belineli is on defense. He'll move the ball, rebound a little, score a little ... Decent enough as fourth wing.
