Granted his promotion wrestled in "strong style" but still.. Here is the aftermath, the family asked that the original video be edited to remove the accident itself.

ECW was the shit from 96-99.. they had minimal storylines, but the ones they had were mature.. They had so many good wrestlers, and towards the end they all got raided by by WCW and WWF..

Barely Legal 97' featured RVD, Lance Storm, Taz, Raven, Shane Douglas, Perry Saturn, Sabu, Terry Funk, New Jack, Stevie Richards, The Dudleys, Tommy Dreamer..hell they even brought in Taka Michinoku and Great Sasuke.. They had barely lost Malenko, Misterio, Psychosis, Guererro and Benoit to WCW, and Mick Foley to WWF.. they continued to create top stars even though, they made Mike Awesome, Rhyno, Tajiri, Super Crazy, Bam Bam Bigelow (again) as it winded down.
