Never really liked the guy or the teams he played on, but he was undeniably a hell of a talent. Shame he had to go out like such a bitch.

Nash has some wonderful memories of the Spurs. Was there ever a HOF'er who had his ass kicked harder by a team on multiple occasions?

She took your 5th away. Then she made him roll over on that pre-nup you guys said was lawyer-proof. Big shots. He threw that in her face & she ran and told TMZ on him. Then he gave her the $ anyway. The dumb fuck. If he'd a just given her the boodle when she asked he'd have the same amount of money,,,minus the $20 million he gave that land developer in the panhandle + his 6th.
Put that in your smoke & pipe it, bitch.

His days with the Phoenix Suns were absolutely entertaining to watch. During that period, other than the Spurs I would definitely watch the Suns if they have a game tbh.
SA vs Phoenix in the 2005 WCF was one of the best playoffs series imo.

That was because like the Pistons a fortnight later they handed it to you on a silver platter. Seriously, aside from when Amy held you hostage June afore last have you humps ever been under the gun in a Finals?
Horry is a fucking hero. He should have a national holiday. He took a bunch of useless niggas to the ring.

But Nash's passing is the most entertaining and unexpected.

He didn't go out well so I wouldn't be surprised to see him come back late next season if his body agrees, it wouldn't be the first time a player announces retirement and has a change of heart. I think he will stay retired because he doesn't care how it ended, but I wouldn't be surprised at all if he get's that itch and signs with a contender.

He got his revenge on the Spurs in that series. Even with the black eye. I also think if he hadn't flopped so bad in '07 his teammates wouldn't have been suspended and they would have had a better chance against the Spurs.

But it's ok to blame the media, an entity that has no effect on the outcome of the game.

But he got some pretty good revenge. Sweeping the Spurs. The Spurs were never able to sweep his teams. I think that 2010 series was lost when Pop decided to keep starting George Hill and Hill was abused by Nash at the start of game 1.

Yeah, thats not good revenge, we killed their team him in 03 with the Mavs in the WCF, in 05 with Suns in the WCF, 07 in the defacto NBA Finals with the best Suns team to ever play (all en route to a title), and then again in 08 with a Tim Duncan 3 pointer. And what does he have to show for it, a second round defeat of the spurs against their second worst team of the era en route to a 6 game defeat in the WCF. He got owned and his revenge was pretty much meaningless.
