Dominate = show up for a dozen games in March against a group of bottom feeders? If we're being honest about Tony's play this season, he disappoints more often than not. Which is inexcusable for someone that just got handed a $45 mil extension.

Honestly, i think it'll take all three perimeter spurs players to stop Westbrook. CIA pop will probably avoid the green on Westbrook match up. So maybe it will be parker, but since Westbrook is pretty much the entire OKC offense maybe we can use a team approach to stop him.

People can hate on TP. But with him as the number one option for the last 3 years, look at the Spurs' offense and record. And with Kawhi as the offensive centerpiece? See this season. I can't believe people are so blind and ungrateful. I hope your families shit on you when age limits you and makes you infirm. See if you can take what you dish. Father Time catches up with us all.

oh and this team is going nowhere this postseason. It was a nice run. Got 5 so I don't care.

Will the dumbass that thinks this team can go deep in the playoffs without a productive Parker please stand up? Do people honestly think this team can compete with Cojo or Mills as the starting PG?

There is so little point in posting here now. It's been the same old saw' all season. This team lacks focus and rhythym. The reality is that TP spoiled the team the last couple years and could carry them for stretches in the regular season. Last year when he was hurting, Mills saved the day and carried them for many games. Even Beli took a turn.

But guys are not stepping up and showing the same drive this year. Diaw flat-out sucks except when he wakes up (4th quarter Atlanta game). TP can't solve the turnover issue, and looks different from night to night. Kawhi is not consistent on offense yet. TD is even slower laterally than last year. And his post-ups are at an all-time low.

Green gets lost on defense too much. TP gets caught on too many screens. Splitter is a bright spot but that is only a recent development. Patty can't shoot much yet. Watching these guys spot Ellis every jumper he wanted was painful.

lol they already did last year. Perhaps you need to get Parker's cum out of your eyes so that you can see it clearly.

If you want to go by the eye test/casual fan way of evaluating games, then why did the Spurs win 3 game clinching series without contribution by Parker? Game 5 Blazers, Game 6 OKC, game 5 Heat. If that's not enough, then go to bball-reference and look at Parker's advanced metrics in the playoffs.

Hey that's fine. If coaches voting for who the best players in the league are means nothing, then that's cool. Of course it wouldn't be my only argument for Tony. That's why I mentioned his MVP races and FMVP and his scoring and assists and also used quotes from players and coaches about his importance to the team. I mean if you had a FMVP that wasn't even an All-Star player, then obviously that's out of the ordinary. Tony's resume doesn't have that problem of course. It's not a main argument, just one of many.

Rob did you watch the Game? Better yet, do you understand math:

21 points. Did not play 4rth Q. 6 points in 3rd. Therefore 15 points in first two.

Pretty much Tony scored consistently 70% from the field. I mean i know your trolling but why use such a weak hand?

I guess, you could complain that parker played well against a depleted team without their shot blocker but could not dominate tyson chandler and the mavs. This would be a good argument but a total killjoy on a night the spurs win big

I don't think Rondo was the problem. He played like garbage no matter who he was matched up with.

This is what happens with age. You can look great for a few games and then out of nowhere, your legs disappear. He just didn't have his legs tonight.

TBH, it's not just age. Old or young, some games you have it, some you don't. The most dominant teams still lose by 20 points some nights.

I will never get the Tony Parker haters. Most of them are probably young fans. They obviously haven't watched the years we had crappy point guards in San Antonio. Parker is the best point guard to ever wear a Spurs jersey. Just a fact.
