Lately he's been playing very well and dirk made him look like kevin McHale in the first quarter but he only ends up taking 6 shot and playing 22 min?

I'm not sure what Pop was up to yesterday with his rotations. He seemed to go away from what was working and it allowed Dallas to get back in the game. The Spurs were in complete control of the game and made the Mavs look bad. Things seemed to go downhill when Manu made that over-zealous pass to Tiago down low. Pop was pissed and soon called a timeout. Things got out of hand after that. Just strange.

Mavericks went small with parsons at the 4. That's why he went away. Not that hard to figure out.

Splitter has done well defending jumpshooters and why not take advantage and post splitter up?

yep, weird stuff by Pop all the way around. momentum lost, foot off the pedal, etc, etc.

Ayres? really? :lol

Splitter was lost on both O and D in the 2nd quarter, it never caught back on.
