The Thunder franchise is at a point where reaching the playoffs as an 8 seed means nothing. The Pelicans making the playoffs would mean everything to them... getting playoff experience for all core players under 25 years of age.

Plus, Pelicans will lose their first round pick if they don't make the playoffs.

Meh, whatever season, tbh..I'm not a big fan of tanking but if that's what it takes to get us better I'm all for it..plus, we have no shot to challenge the W's without KD or Serge..the Pelicans will be fun to watch against the W's..I hope Brow skullfucks that franchise..

Regardless Rockets are owed that pick even if Pelicans make the playoffs unless there is some stipulation that I haven't heard about

Rockets get the pick if its between 4 and 18. Otherwise the Pelicans get the pick.
