Here we go again. The New York Post's Frank Isola reported that Cleveland Cavaliers superstar LeBron James isn't thrilled with how things have gone with Kevin Love.
But several sources close to the situation in Cleveland claim that James has tried to make it work but that he's frustrated by Love's inability, and in some ways unwillingness, to get with the program. Remember, James pushed the Cavs to trade Wiggins to the Timberwolves to acquire Love, who could be one-and-done in Cleveland.
Sigh. OK. This is the fit-in-or-fit-out fiasco all over again, and it comes on the heels of Love saying that he and James are -- gasp! -- not best friends. The fact that Love picked his college roommate, Russell Westbrook, for MVP instead of his current teammate has also become a thing, even if James said it was no big deal.
The funny part? The report was published on Wednesday night, just before the Cavaliers played the Memphis Grizzlies, who are the second best team in the West. Love had 22 points and 10 boards in the game, shooting 10-for-13 from the field. James had a 20-8-5 line himself. Cleveland won 111-89, its eighth win in nine games.
Afterward, Love videobombed James' postgame interview to wish his mother a happy birthday. Perhaps things aren't so bad over there.
