He's Kobe replacement in 2016....would be nice if they gone trade him to us now for that 4th pick...and some change

Bringing him back so soon after the initial surgery was just remarkably stupid. Hopefully, he can fully recover this time and be MVP-level Kevin Durant again.

They've been playing with fire after what they did to Ibaka last year. Such a stupid coaching staff.

agreed. Tough to see a great talent like that at risk. you never know. I remember people saying freely that Lebron will pass MJ and KObe in scoring and Durant will pass all three. No way you can know for sure. Also people were questioning his durability because he was skinny but it has been his foot that has been the issue ... and even if he comes back he may be more GHill post-surgery than Durantula.

This is what happens when you give money to Porkins instead of Harden, then run your players into the ground. Chimpbrick better enjoy his solo run while it lasts cuz his knees are next.

is scott brooks going to resign as coach tbqmfh?

There's history of guys who had similar injuries who never returned to their normal selves... although most, if not all, of them were never in the same league as Durant. Hope he makes a full recovery.

Now Curry or Bogut go down per par and another asterisk goes up to the rafters :lol

Sad. Foot injuries don't go away. Especially for a jump shooting 7 footer.

He's finished, tbh..Durant doesn't have the conventional look of a near-7 footer, but this type of injury can't bode well for a player with his body type..

1 down, now we just need Bogut to break something significant, tbh..

Even if Durant comes back next year healthy, he should be very cautious with his free agency coming.

5 minutes in (maybe 3) you'll break his spirit. That'll get 'er done.

I wasn't sure if I wanted him back or not. On one hand, it will give the warriors trouble..On the other hand, it might just be another potential tough match-up.

Get better Kevin. Fuck this season. The only championship this year will be garnered by taking out a few of those faggy Warrior players in the first round.

Hope your boy the best, tbh.

Kevin is one of the best offensive talents I've ever seen.

Also, I'ts boring as fuk knowing Leonard is the best SF in the west because Durant is not playing..Competition is key, IMO.

I hate the Thunder and all, but seeing this happen to Durant sucks so much. Especially seeing how Odens career went. That draft night you just always figured it was going to be Oden vs Durant in the WCF every year.

Wilbon just said on Pti the injury could take closer to 9-12 months.

They can have wheelchair races tbh. Or they can get rascals and have outdoor events. Rodney Rogers and Cobbler can join in too.

did you REALLY think that, Bum?
I never thought that. Oden I did not know would be a bust ...but I thought his upside was a bigger, poor man's Alonzo Mourning (without the jumper)... I never saw the 2nd coming of David Robinson. Durant I knew would be a stud and after 3 years ago or so I thought he could surpass Kobe, MJ, Malone in scoring doubt he does that now.

Oden looked like he could be another Shaq

Oden wasn't the athlete Shaq was, but given the deterioration of the center position overall, he would have been the "shaq" of this era

He was a better defender but wasn't shit I saw him do at OSU that looked to me like Shaq at LSU

I was really anticipating that 1st round matchup tbh..but I think Russ can take a couple of games from them.

Also, best of luck to Durant, its amazing how much he improved his game after coming into the league. I have no doubt he'll be able to step back up to the plate.

The first time MJ was off the floor for that long he stepped up to the plate too.
