Sean Penn should be commended. He didn't just write a check, he joined in the effort to save people. That's pretty snide to mock him for it. I don't like the guy, but I have no doubt that he did this because he cared about those people and honestly wanted to help. As for the entourage, those are just more people that can lend a hand. As for the photographer, I don't know, maybe he just wanted to document it, maybe there was a little vanity, but still even vain people can care about others and want to do good.
