No reason for him to play @ Miami and @ Orlando. Spurs should win both games with or without Timmy with Baynes back. Nigga deserves a break.

I think he can just suit up and play if need be. Either way is fine but I dont want any more unnecessary losses

Yep, although I may rest him vs. Miami and play him against Orlando instead..

Whiteside is still out, Miami's frontcourt is terrible, don't really need Tim..

I was thinking more in terms of fatigue. I think it's a lot more tiring to rest the first b2b and then play the game leading towards a flight...I really don't know if that's the case with Pro's though..In like you said, TD will probably play more against Orlando..I was thinking play them as little as possible.

OTOH that means Tim could go to work and we could end the game in the first half vs. the Heatles.

Nah. We need every single game from here on out just for HCA in the first round. The time for resting is done. Due to an unfortunate series of circumstances 21 hasnt gotten the amount of rest he probably needed this season, but that's moot. Just gotta cross our fingers everyone stays healthy now, cause we need the finish the season out as strong as possible.

I think he needs to suit up and start just to keep the flow that they have now. Don't want to all of a sudden go with a new lineup and all of the different rotations down the line. Start him but don't play him extended minutes.

Play him like last game. 20 minutes. Just to keep his rhythm going. Rest him for Orlando game as the Spurs should be able to beat them w/o him. Too many games off could be a bad thing at his age. You need to keep your body active or it can get rusty real quick.

Nailed it. Limited action, we need W's. I feel like home court is important in the playoffs.

I agree. Avoid the back-to-backs but otherwise give him 15-20 minutes unless the game warrants more.

I'd rest him against the Magic. Even with news today that Whiteside will play tomorrow, the Heat are down to him, Haslem and Beasley, as bigs, plus it's the first game of the back-to-back. It's best to attempt to ensure victory while the team is collectively fresh. Not that they shouldn't beat the Magic with or without Duncan, but it's more up in the air as to whether they'll have the legs.

After that, I wouldn't rest anyone until maybe the final game, if they're locked into their seed by then. The only ones that haven't gotten a break at some point, are Duncan, Diaw and Green. I'd have liked to have seen them rest Diaw at a point, but he's finally playing well, so I wouldn't bother now.

Spurs should keep playing for the chance they can still get a top 3 seed but once that seems unattainable then start resting. Rather be 6 then 5 anyway, even without HCA.
