Lol flabby physique for a pro athlete. All that matters is can he read an NFL defense.

Montana had bird legs, Sonny Jurgenson a pot belly, then there's...

There will be somebody there assigned to keep Jameis in shape.

If you consider round a good shape, then I guess you'd be right.

Isn't Kaepernick the opposite? Greatest QB physique of all time but can't read the field, slide in the pocket or accurately deliver the ball (all Winston strengths)

If Winston (or any QB for that matter) were going to the Raiders I'd be concerned. Hometown Tampa (close to FSU) isn't ideal but a far more competent franchise. He has some weapons there. I predict success for Jameis.

Him and Mariota are gonna be massive busts.

Both have looked terrible outside two or three games against mediocre competition. Not sure what you're celebrating for.

Another stud black QB.

Obviously the kid has "it'.

RW
Cam
Bridgewater
Winston
Taylor

Hmmmm?

He's only looked impressive against the worst defenses in the NFL, which includes Atlanta :lmao

How many games has the kid played? For a guy with less than one season of NFL experience he's doing great. OBVIOUSLY....he has ...it...and will only get better.

Keep in mind he like RW walked right in and took over, ok? That isn't easy to do as a rookie.

Trailing 19-16 with 1:47 left, the Bucs were facing a third-and-4 from the Falcons' 6-yard line. Sensing that the team's mood needed lifting, Winston asked the huddle one simple question: "Who wants a touchdown?"

Receiver Mike Evans (http://espn.go.com/nfl/player/_/id/16737/mike-evans) raised his hand like he was in class and said he wanted it. Winston looked at him and said, "All right." Winston took the snap, looked left, started rolling out right, then fired a strike to a sliding Evans for the decisive touchdown in Tampa Bay's 23-19 victory.

"I raised my hand first and it's crazy we spoke it into existence," Evans said. "Jameis is always doing crazy, fun stuff in the huddle, so it worked out."

That's straight franchise-level stuff right there. It seems very obvious that Lovie and Winston are legit.

When did common sense go out the widow with these young QB's? It takes time to become a legit NFL QB, to try and play critic with a rookie QB....why? It will take a few seasons to get it down. If a guy does come in and stars that's great but that isn't the norm.

Winston is going to be a great QB, we can all see that but ya can't expect anything more than we are seeing out of a rookie.

jameis and mariotta are the real deal. i think me and avante were the only ones here, as usual, to say this from the jump. jameis is a natural leader.

We have a lot of....a black/mobile QB....YUCK~~~ here. As we see Kaepernick taking a team to a SB, RW winning one, playing in two and Newton at 12-0.

Winston ans Mariota have...it...and it's real obvious. Anyone not seeing that doesn't get....it.

Seems pretty dumb cocky stuff to me... then again, i guess you can spin it as confidence..

DD and I are two of the biggest black QB haters on this site but even we see the potential in Jameis. He'll be a stud in a few years, definitely worth the 1st overall pick.

Perfect combination of being able to learn from his mistakes/interceptions but not letting them haunt him.

First four games: 7 INT
Last 8 games: 4 INT

I would say he's learning from his mistakes...that's all I can ask for.

Way too early to try and get a real read on any rookie other than....he is headed in the right direction. I do think it's safe to say if the kid doesn't get caught up in his celebrity and keeps doing what he's been doing he will be a good NFL QB.
