:wow I wonder if this has ever happened or even Spurs win by 20 with so little point production from the "big three". Even against a weaker team its nice to see the Spurs dominate with a great team balance of minutes.

Yeah, the Nuggets are a pretty bad team this year.

Still, I think we have a good shot at repeating if everyone can stay healthy. Hurry back, Tiago!

I'm one of the biggest Manu homers on the site.. but he better step it up. He's looking old this year.

That's because he is old.....

He'll be fine. Really need Mills to step it up though....and with this Tiago injury we need Baynes to step up also.

Proof positive that the more Enrique's cancerous effect on the game is limited, the more the Spurs win by.

Clipp w/ the BS. Call TP what you will but also call him a winner and a champion, something CP0 hasn't come close to sniffing. For all the hype and praise CP gets, he is known for choking in the post season.

Unbelievable how deep and versatile this team is. The big 3 score 12 points combined and the Spurs still score 123! And the top scorer Danny Green only had 21. Good team effort apart from the 18 turnovers..

Also noteworthy: Parker, Ginobili and Duncan took a combined 11 field goal attempts and had a combined 18 assists!

BTW, as the guy who coined the nickname "Choke Paul," I'm well aware that he sucks in the playoffs too, just like Enrique. :lol

You're missing Kerr who bailed rique's sorry as$ in the 2003 WCF. Dirk would've suited up for Game 7 had there been one.

I'm worried about him too with the playoffs around the corner and he's playing as badly as he has been. One thing I've noticed tonight but he was running sprints on the sidelines during all the timeouts. I wonder if he still is working on his conditioning from his ankle sprain or with him being older now it's a lot harder to come off the bench when you're cold from sitting there.

Manu has been ok in this stretch... he can play better, but since March 1st he's averaged:

8pts, 3 ast, 3 rbs, 42% from the field, +8.25... his 3 point shot hasn't looked great, but he's only attempting 2-3 per game.

I guess as long as Manu's not turning the ball over we'll be alright. Fortunately we have enough guys that can score.

What is that, the 6th blowout in a row? Spurs are peaking when needed while other Western teams like the Grizzlies, Clippers, and the Trail Blazers are beginning to lose composure.

Parker had like two shot attempts and seven assists in the first half. He's kind of a big reason the game was over at halftime.

Manu's role is being a creator and floor general now, he doesn't have to finish the plays. We have talented scorers in the 2nd unit if we get the ball moving. Boris, Marco, even Baynes now in the pick and roll have been very effective. It's just Patty that's been missing.

The bench has been shaping into form in the last few games, and that's only good news for the team. It was a big weapon last playoffs.

Manu has also shared the floor with Kawhi quite a bit the last few games, and I noticed him specifically posting Kawhi up as soon as he sees a mismatch. That's the kind of smart team we need to be.

Sometimes......I'll see an interesting thread......and I'll open it, and I wanna post stuff....and then I read everyone else's posts.....and then I forget what the thread was about......and then I close it and go to another one......and it happens again.

The team is much better when they aren't reliant on the big 3 at their current ages, of course..tonight was great to watch, albeit against a terrible opponent..

The team doesn't HAVE to rely on the big 3 anymore, but they may have to lean on their combined experience and leadership during stretches in the playoffs.

Exactly.

Nine assists is far from limited effect.
