What shoes do you use to play ball, tbh?..
What are you some of your current contemporary favorites?..
What are some retros that you still use or plan to scoop once they become available?..

Also, I'm new to online purchasing of kicks..I stumbled upon a list of legit online selling sites, still kinda hesitant about what to believe..what are some that yall use, and what are some scams yall've come across IRL, tbh..

Did you do a lace swap?
They come with black and red laces, I liked the reds better.

I'm usually not flashy with sneakers, but the last one I bought was the Kobe Elite IX.

facebook, kixify(might find gems but a lot of scammers), ebay, etc are good places to find shoes after retail
I hoop in kobe 9s, personally.
I have a decent collection of sneakers(I know, typical of a black guy), but I don't really collect jordans.

I've been using these bad boys for the last few months and they're the most comfortable and responsive shoes that I've ever played in.

As for retros, the Jordan XI is a solid ball shoe as long as you lace it up all the way. Really cushy and good lockdown. The older retros are really uncomfortable imo, but I see guys play in them all the time.
I really want those Laney High Jordan 5s, but I've had to stop buying sneakers unless I need them for something. Student loan budget...

I've found the older retros to be the most comfortable shoes around... of course, I'd also never actually hoop in them.

Different strokes for different folks, I guess, but I was mainly talking about comfort for basketball purposes.
For everyday wear I think the flyknit airmax is the most comfortable shoe I own:

The difference is just night and day IMO. The newer shoes are just so light, comfortable and it still provides great traction and ankle/heel support.
The best retro shoes I've used for basketball use are easily the Jordan VI, Nike Glove (Payton) and Air Flight Lite II.

2013 D Rose 4. Very comfortable and great traction. Haven't completely avoided the Rose injury curse though, I ripped a toenail off whilst playing in these :lol

All the sneaker heads I know don't even wear the shoes. They just constantly go after the next pair, then hoard them in the original box stacked in the closest with all the dozens of other pairs they have, then I hear them saying how broke they are all the time :lol

Never cared enough about them to keep up with news and latest models. I leave the shoe obsessing for women. Last time I needed new bball shoes just walked into nordstrom rack and picked up some random blue jordans for $50-60. They work fine

If I buy em, I'm wearing them. The only exception would be if I got my hands on a collector's edition and could flip it for double the retail.

I've heard amazing things about the crazy lights.
for their price they are pretty good. the only thing i hate about them is that the tread on the shoe is ridiculously thin. i can still get good grip on blacktop though. But I can't play on concrete with those. Thats why I like my hyperdunks more. the treads are wide and deep. But i mean I can honestly see why some people get hurt playing on crazy lights. It's a pretty narrow shoe and if you're foot is wide you better look somewhere else.
