Yes. Although tbf his absence is the only reason I called a 15+ point blowout instead of a 25+ point blowout. They're also still missing Draymond IIRC.

Any thoughts on Diaw vs Lee?

Diaw>Lee obviously. Hope they both get the start so Diaw can destroy him tbh.

The Warriors aren't respecting the game. I can't wait til the Spurs face them in the playoffs. It's just night and day between these two teams as far as their attitudes are at this point of the season. Hope they enjoy their regular season success as far as they get eliminated in the playoffs.

With that said, they are well rested and I think will give the Spurs a fight tomorrow.

For the most part I can't find many unlikeable guys in the Dubs, tbh...

Literally every single player is unlikeable from Curry's smug, cocky ass to their overcelebrating bench. They flop and cheapshot more than anyone and get a pass because Media has decided they're "likeable" and are giving them a favorable narrative. Casual fans have bought it hook, line and sinker.

Think they'll sit players?

If they are smart they would rest their players tomorrow. They have nothing to win by winning that game, if someone gets hurt? That would make them look incredibly stupid if they keep playing guys and someone gets hurt. I am shocked they are still playing the starters so many minutes.
If we beat them tomorrow, we'll be the only team to have a winning record against them this season?

Yep, believe so.

I was in the bay area during the Mavs/Dubs playoffs series in 2007. Now that was amazing seeing that they were the underdog.

Nowadays, they're taking the success for granted and it won't be long (either this year or the next) before someone smacks them and they'll all come crashing down.

I don't get the part where the Warriors are taking success for granted. They are a pretty hardworking team to me who are enjoying the game and the company of each teammate. They probably over-celebrate but every team does that nowadays -- because they're not stiffs.

What's sad about this post is that the Spurs had been on an absolute roll for the entire month of March, yet the Warriors still had a better record than them. If Golden State can still manage to outplay the Spurs at their best, what does that say about our chances of beating them in a 7-game series?

The Spurs may very well win tomorrow, given GS will be coming off a back-to-back and the game will be in San Antonio. But can the Spurs beat them on the road in a potential Game 7? I highly doubt it.

Gonna be an interesting game. Warriors are on a back to back, but I don't think they'll be resting a lot of guys. They probably want to make this a statement win. GS is just flat out good this season. Against the Mavs last night they weren't even playing that great in the 3rd quarter, it seemed, and yet Dallas had no shot of really making it a game at home.

Playoffs are about matchups and if Danny & Kwahi can hold their own against Klay & Curry, i like our chances. Tim could be the weak link and that's where Splitter needs to step up. Patty will be the ex factor. Hopefully he finds his shot by then.

This W's team probably could have made last year's WCF if not for the Bogut injury (he would have probably helped just a bit against Blake + OKC never hit stride except games 3/4 against Spurs). Probably could have made it year before when losing to Spurs in 6. Combine that with better coaching and better supporting cast.

Should be fun and Spurs do stand a shot in a 7 game series.

Like I said, the only team that I was outright afraid could beat the Spurs was OKC when healthy. Not now. They would be great 1st round opponents to have. Spurs can beat any other team in the league without HC in a 7 game series.

That is why I said the Spurs not the Warriors should be favorites out West. Quite honestly, the Warriors are just a slightly better version the Suns a decade ago. But this Spurs team is actually better than the Spurs team a decade as they have perfected their system, and have the new league's Pippen on their team.

Plus they have a more improved Parker, better C play, and a better starting SG in Green who is best defensive SG they have had since Duncan has been on the Spurs team. Spurs would be the last team I would want to play in the 1st round this year.

Spurs showed, you shut the perimeter down, the Warriors are not as good as their record advertises.

It was a back to back though ... I think you will know more if they both played on a days rest ... either way GSW has to prove they can beat Spurs not the other way around.

I only have one Fuzzy, you must have me confused with someone else. What did I say that you take issue or think I am trolling about? Is it not true GSW was on the 2nd of a back2back? Is it also not true that the spurs are the proven playoff team and GSW is not?

Yes. I feel that way about any big game. If you win on the road 2nd of a back2back it's impressive. if you lose especially when the 2nd team is much better than the first, it means little. I know I dont post a lot up here but I am not a troll. Earlier in the year I was praising Danny Green's virtues on defense and this sunday I was arguing with my uncles that if anyone can beat Lebron and company it's the Spurs.

No need to get bent out of shape. I feel that way about all back to backs. I hate when they schedule big national tv games when one team is coming off a game the night before ... they mean little because in the playoffs there are none.

Simple question fairly answered. There are several nonspur fans masquerading as Spurs fans.

Fair enough. I am not a Spur fan. Just not a Spur hater. In fact only recent spur I despised was dirty ass Bowen. And the only reason I sometimes root against yall was when we were rivals circa 1999-2004 2008-2011 (tough to be rival when we suck or you guys suck) but when I lived in SA, yall fans gave me so much shit and of course the haters here. But if I never lived in SA or came to this site Spurs might have been my 2nd favorite team. Didnt know how much spur fan hated the squad and Lakers fans before that ...

Spurs beat them on the B2B game at GS when they were playing at a high level early in the season. Injuries hit the Spurs hard in December and January and completely through their rhythm off.

They are finally getting back in their groove.

When Kareem was coasting between Oscar and Magic they weren't a threat but Showtime used to fuck us up and then of course you have Phildo and his asterisk trolling. Shaq used to troll the city too talking shit about 50. Everyone not Laker hates bean.

Shouldn't be a surprise really.

I love how, in the aftermath of this game, the media pretended it never happened, yet pretends as if their blowout over the Spurs nearly two months, was/is the be all end all.
