Throwing the ball at a certain velocity is one thing, but to throw it with the precision and accuracy is another. When you think about the knuckle ball, curve ball etc..that's when you begin to realize it takes some doing to make all that happen.

Agree. I've always been pretty decent in basketball, football and soccer but struggle to hit even 50 mph fastballs at batting cages. Still, it's a skill more than anything just like swinging a golf club. Anything that requires minimal running/movement can't and shouldn't be considered a real sport tbh.

There's some great athletes in baseball but how often do they display it? Maybe the couple of times the ball is hit towards them or the couple of times they get on base. Bernando Santi says that the reason why Ronaldo has suffered so many injuries is because when he signed for PSV Eindhoven in 1994 as a 17-year-old, he was regularly pumped full of anabolic steroids in order to build up the player physically and help him grow.
