RS is about to end, the last games won't change the big picture.

Thread is about overall contribution to Spurs new >50 wins season, I'm not talking performance as of today but during the length of the 2014-2015 season. Right now best Spurs player is Kawhi per par but through the whole season ?

You have to give it to 38 y/o Tim Duncan tbh

Quick look at his contribution by the numbers:

Total minutes played: second, first is Danny with 100 mn more
Total games played: fourth, first are Danny and Boris 76 vs. 72 for Timmy
Total Points: first
Total Assists: fourth
Total Rebounds: first by wide margin >200 rebounds more than second Kawhi
Win Shares: first
WS per 48: second

His VORP BPM Drtg Ortg are fucking excellent too...

great season for the greatest PF of all time tbh :toast

Danny deserves a lot of praise, most minutes and games played, third on total points, he has the best Ortg of the team at 115, third in WS, first in VORP... solid all around season

Manu had a good season too even though a bit unconsistent which is totally normal, he has been huge with Tim and Danny to maintain Spurs above water when Tiago / Kawhi and TP were out.

I'd say

Tim
Kawhi
Danny
Manu
Boris
Cory => played a lot games, contributed well, great Ortg and good Drtg
Parker
then the rest

Duncan.

Probably Kawhi if he didn't get that injury.

Hard to choose tbh.

I think it's between Tim Dg and kawhi. The knocks on them are: tim for playing mediocre jan-feb, danny's shooting slump in jan-feb, kawhi injuries.

showing up is half the battle, TD is always there. while the rest of the Spurs constantly get injured or fat.

"Showing up is half the battle"

That's the dumbest thing I've heard. Do you think that really makes sense at the highest level of competition? Jesus Christ.

Showing up is half the battle. That's something you tell peewees before you hand them all a trophy for last fucking place.

should I have said "showing up in game condition, not leaving your talent at home"? thought that much was implied

We dont have one, every player disappeared for a good chunk of games this season, hence the bad record biting our asses.

1/ Timmy - Most reliable since day1
2/ Kawhi - 2nd only bc of injuries
3/ DG

"The Spurs are 10-0 when Bonner starts alongside Duncan, Parker, Leonard and Green and 14-3 overall when the ''Red Rocket'' is in the starting lineup."

just saying.... :)

Funny, that's very close to my list on the "rank players by their worth" thread, IIRC.
