Told him to take the Qualifying offer and become a Spur ASAP. I think we all should do this to start planting the seed.

Unless you can tweet him $25M to go along with the sentiment, I don't think you'll be very convincing tbqh.

Davis is going to LA. It's about that time for another top center to be dropped in their lap.

Would be awesome if you could do the same with Marc Gasol.

:lol this is almost as bad as the grown men who tweet to high school recruits to come to their alma mater.

I'm sure if he showed interest the Spurs would have no qualms about producing said funds.

Davis is coming to the Clipps with Kawhi, tbh. Davis + Blake + Kawhi = 82-0 and championship. :worthy:

would a frontcourt of Gobert/Davis/Antetokounmpo have the highest combined wingspan of all time?

Can you tweet to Austin Daye and ask if he can come back pretty please?

No matter how much the Spurs can offer, the Pels can offer an additional year at a higher year-over-year raise. The $25M I referenced was ballpark for the incremental $$ that he'd be leaving on the table to come here.

Sorry if it wasn't clear.

It would be nice to hear AD say that he wanted to come to SA because of the organizations reputation. Just once it would be nice to hear any star say that.

There's a reason why the Spur's star players are all drafted and developed in-house. No max player wants to go to San Antonio. Even when you have the best coach and FO in the NBA, living in Chicago, Boston, Miami, Los Angeles, SF, and NY will always trump this. No one is going to give up less money from their original team to go to a dull town where they don't have any ties. But there's a chance they give up money if they can live the LA or NY lifestyle.

I don't think a lot of the guys realize how great an area this is down here. Perhaps San Antonio and Austin should market themselves as a combined metropolis and then it would never be an issue. Our cities will probably partner up in some type of Dallas/Ft. Worth scenario at some point anyway.

Are you kidding? Every free agent says that exact thing all the time. Problem is, true or not, it's always said just to bump their free agent stock because when it's time to put up or shut up, they never come here.
