He was afraid Terry would punch him in the dick and thus render him impotent. Can't happen to the horn dog, tbh.

That brings his average over the last 2 games to:
14.5 PTS / 3.5 APG / 3.0 RPG / 1.0 TO on 56% shooting in 26 MPG.
Not a bad 2 game stretch for such limited minutes.

Every player on this team outside of Kawhi and occasionally Duncan are role players, tbh, it's just the way the team is set up..being a scoring option/facilitator like Ginobili and Parker doesn't exclude them from being role players..

The Spurs of 2014 and 2015 are the deepest team in the history of the league, they are versatile as fuck..blanketing 1 guy doesn't affect this team..

I haven't said a bad word about Parker in weeks(even during his recent struggles), so I'll just reply with only 1 post:

He has scored in single digits in 5 of the past 6 games(which is 1 of his only 2 strengths, along with occasionally kicking and dishing), yet the Spurs have won 4 of them without any trouble..if your team is routinely blowing out the opposition with just decent(or minimal) contributions from a player, he's a role player, tbh..

He's still the best PG and ball-handler on the team, still the best penetrator when his body can handle it, he has been running the offense very well and getting others involved, and he can score against mismatches, that's his role..it's not 2013 anymore..

I'm just going to say this. I've been watching basketball for almost 30 years. I've watched Tony's whole career obviously. I've lived in San Antonio most of my life and never gone to less than 10 games a season. I've never missed going to any playoff run in the Robinson or Duncan eras. I've gone to at least one finals game all 6 times. I say all that to say that I've talked to a lot of Spurs fans throughout my life. I've met a lot of the players and played against a bunch of them in random pickup games around the city and I've met a lot of the Spurs media commentators throughout the years (Sean Elliott 3 or 4 times, live a few houses down from Andrew Monaco, etc). Never to this day have I heard anyone outside of 3 or 4 ST posters (who all happen to have an admitted KL infatuation) call Tony Parker a "role player." Now, maybe you guys are right or maybe the rest of the NBA world is right. I guess that's for each person to decide. I always wondered why Hater was so insistent on his use of the term "short bus," but now I'm starting to understand why he feels the need to use it so often.

It's true, but it happens to everyone. Kawhi had a 3-game stretch where he went 7/35 shooting. That's 20% over the course of 3 games. Tony didn't have a 3 game stretch in this month that was even close to that bad. You can manipulate whatever you want to make it look bad for any player. That's why you don't just single out games in evaluating players. Kawhi had 26 on Tuesday, Tony had 27 on Wednesday, and Duncan had 29 tonight. All really important games and our guys stepped up when we needed each of them to.

I don't imagine that Porker (yes he's chubby) and Verde will combine for two points if they played this game again. Win is a win, I don't care who scores what...just score at least one more than the opposition. Time to bring it Sunday and then possibly cruise vs the Parallelograms. Even great players in their primes have off nights. Rockets are a team that has given SA problems in their regular season meetings. Nice to see a win with a struggling Parker and no Splitter. Was a close game, though, and could've gone either way. Spurs have lost a lot of those this year, so they were due.

Yup you are the boss Rob

Order those guys around your shop, make them strut. Do you make them wear uniforms? So hot, right. Then off to Spurstalk, for my all guys crew. We call people faggots, giggle. I'm the boss, giggle.

Rique is averaging 9.3 ppg in April. That drops down to 4.6 ppg if we exclude the 27 point game.

Actually, he's averaging 27 LPG if you rule out that math you did. Easy right?

Disagree. Role players help their team. Enrique hurts his team.
So that excludes the entire LAC team from being role players.
