So how do you think Pop will manage the minutes in the playoff?..How would you want it?

obviously the first round would be a little different with the splitter injury.

1st round, everyone plays, minus Reggie.

2nd round & 3rd round, 9-man rotation. I think Pop rolls with Patty over Cojo, knowing we're going to need his offense eventually if we want to make a serious run at this thing.

It will be like it always is. If the Spurs are up big or down big, he'll give scrubs more minutes. If the game is wire to wire, expect Pop to go with his horses.

-CoJo gets first crack at the backup PG position
-Kawhi plays close to 40mins
-Danny/Manu take most of Beli's minutes

Same rotation as last year, if Splitter can get healthy.

Patty/CoJo rotate depending on matchups. Patty will get more playing time if he's really past his struggles. Baynes is good for stretches if the Spurs need him especially with Splitter's unknown status. Belinelli should be limited but I expect Pop to play him for his offense

Bonner/Williams/Anderson/Ayres will cheer on the bench.

Obviously, Ayres, Williams and Anderson will not play, while Baynes/Bonner will be match-up dependent. As an extension of that, so will Splitter starting (the only teams he won't against are the Warriors and maybe Cavaliers). Backup PG is the biggest question mark and both will probably be on a short leash, particularly Mills. Belinelli will move towards the fringe.

Depending on the matchup, you may see some two PG flashes for a few minutes to spell Beli, especially if meant to prevent opponent run if it has two smaller perimeter guys (Clippers come to mind).

Would love for Kawhi / Danny / Manu to eat up all 96 minutes at the 2+3 with a few small ball Kawhi @ the 4 minutes (40 / 33 / 27 = 100). Don't think you can play Manu for much more than half the game though.
