I'd like to extend a Spurs-fan handshake to our friends down Interstate 10 east in securing their first division title since the 1993-1994 season.
As gut wrenching as tonight's game was for all the troubling implications that the Spurs now face, at least some positive came out with Houston getting that coveted seed instead.
It's been 20 years since they faced each other so there's been a relative vacuum of hostility between the two teams, IMHO.
Looking forward to a potential second round matchup and an opportunity to turn the tables as the defending champ 6th seed.
