Amazing ball movement.
Great Teamwork
Great Perimeter Defense.
Because the spurs will be playing in the road it's important that they close out games 6 in style. Here's a video of how they played in a close out game at home last year.

I'm definitely scared of the Spurs recapturing that magic they displayed in the second halves of both of those games, with those lineups out on the court. Damn near impossible to beat them when they're at their best like that.

Sadly, Kawhi will probably never win DPOY just like Pippen never won.

I'd say Kawhi heads into next season as the odds on favorite to win DPOY. Everybody is talking about his defense.

Probably a toss-up with Gobert, he has generated a lot of hype, too..not as much as Kawhi, but big men are generally favored for this award..

They flushed the recipe down the drain by falling to sixth. Worse than the fact they did so, was the way they did so. Had they lose a close game in the last few minutes, it could be passed off somewhat as randomness, especially considering they were due to lose. But to essentially be blown out from the start, against a mediocre opponent, in what they should have viewed as a must win game, speaks volumes.
The path is too difficult now for a team that's running on fumes to begin with. They needed home court for a round or two, but more importantly, they needed a series they could wrap up in five.

On the positive side, if the spurs win this series and Dallas wins their series..SAS might be able to get a much needed break heading into their series against GSW.
I'd rather they play LA now and take a breather against Dallas in the 2nd round than...Dallas first, then tough series against LA then a series against GSW....

Sure, but the Rockets are more than likely going to win that series, so there's not going to be a breather at any point.
Obviously, everyone knows it made the road more difficult, but most don't seem to comprehend that the result of that Pelicans game may very well have swung the championship.
For once, I actually think the national media is overestimating this team.

:lol I never called them "done". In fact, even though I, like the vast majority, had a bad feeling about the Grizzlies series going in, I never actually picked against them. The only series I ever said they wouldn't win, was one that never came to fruition: Last year, against the Thunder, had Ibaka been healthy going in.
