The huge positives from last night is the Mills finally had a vintage Mills games of last year. That is huge for the Spurs. I figure any day now, he would be coming into his own because he is at the period where his surgery should be close to completely healing.
Also, Diaw is continuing his dominance off the bench. Remember, these were the two guys who were the bench players for the Spurs last year in the playoffs. Seeing them sustaining and regaining their form from last year bodes very well for the Spurs.

A consistent return of last year Patty would be great ... but the Spurs need Splitter. He is the key for ball movement of the starting five and as the P&R defensive anchor on the other end.

Would be nice if Pop didn't pull him so easily.

Again, I really think Pop was trying to lose that game. It made no sense when he was helping bring the Spurs back. But despite it, it was nice to seem him go off like last year.

while I would have been much happier with the #2 seed I must admit, being directly responsible for the Thunderefs sitting at home two years in a row and watching Russ sulk is pleasing in and of itself.
