"We are not going to win the Championship without Parker"

Okay we need input from Parker but does that mean he will be left in even if sinking a Championship chance? We saw CIA Popped do this with Manutard Turnobili vs Miami in Game Six Giveaway.

Steve Kerr saving our ass in 2003.
Wasn't a strategy move tho.
Parker was hurt and i think Speedy got nicked up too.
Otherwise Kerr would have wasted on the bench.

Cojo has played awesome this year. And with Mills games against the Rockets and NO last night, it gives me hope that the Spurs don't need Parker once again to win a Championship.

The key is Mills. Look at his games against the Clippers last year, he scorched them. If he can get back to form and last night was his best game in the past two months, then yes, the Spurs won't have to rely on Parker that much.

^^ but will Mills and Cojo be given much of a chance?
They were in 2014, and the lineup rotation was the best coaching of Pops career. Plenty of guilt over burning the Spurs in 2013. Redemption!

However has he returned to a comfort zone of the smug stubborn dipstick who costs titles?

He benched Parker in an important game against the Warriors, but don't let your story line get in the way of facts.

He's never had any qualms benching any player if they're playing poorly, but you keep with your story line. :tu

2009 #3 seed Spurs vs #6 Mavs.
Playoffs. Matt Bonner.
Games started: 5
fg %: 21%
treys: 23%
Defense?: Try Matty BonBon on Dirk. :rollin

Spurs beatdown 4 games to 1.
CIA Popped must have really learned his lesson, huh?
Wanna see 2010 Bonbon stats?
Merely one example.
How about a nice big cup of STFU?

2009 wasn't a good year for bigs... Bonner got 2 1/2 more minutes than Drew Gooden and 4 minutes more than Kurt Thomas. 2010 Bonner didn't start a game in the playoffs and was the third big in minutes played. Only other bigs on the bench were DeJuan Blair (:lol) and Ian Mahinmi (:lol). Another poor season in terms of overall big men.

I doubt it, it's not like when parker was younger and claxton then later udrich were inserted. Manu was having serious difficulties in the 2013 finals but pop stuck with him. At this point if parker is struggling I expect pop to ride him out and hope he turns it around, though if he does struggle to begin with I think we're screwed. Open 3's (especially for green) hinge on good ball movement as well as parker penetration.

Parker penetration has historically been detrimental to Spurs SG. At least for one of them.

Patty looking great last night, drilling 3s again.

Pop is such a bitch. Tony can fuck his teammates wife and no repercussion.

He won't ever get benched tbh.

Mills found his stroke at the very end of the regular season. He continued last night. If the team thrives on ball movement then they should play the pg that makes ball movement easier.

Parker was the worst player on the court for long stretches of the year this season and Pop wouldn't take him out, don't expect that to change.

^^ as relates to Pop n Parker, if Parker is hot and running the O while not getting assfried on D (like Game 1), great.

If he pulls his Enrique shit, lets see Patty. Pronto!
