Seems like you can get it for around $1000 right now if you fly out of LA instead on Norwegian. or 1300 out of San Diego on Aeroflot?

Hmm interesting. I double checked Norwegian and the pricing seems to be one way on Kayak. So when you punch in the info the total cost is the same as competitors
