Amin EL-Hasan is starting to sound like a Black man Zach Lowe.

I remember him sounding like your typical mainstream writer a few years ago..He even got burned by Woj.

I guess that thought him a lesson of really understanding the game of basketball.

Dude has been ripping the spurs for years now. His beloved Warriors keep getting shat on my the Spurs and of course getting bounced from the playoffs still lingers in his mind. What a faggot tbh.

I really don't care about writers ripping spurs. I am more about honesty if anything..

I mean I even hate writers that give the organization credit on things they shouldn't be getting.

IMO

I don't mind honesty. It's when it becomes an agenda is where I draw the line. They both clearly have one.

I think one of Dallas or Portland will pull an upset.

I think Dallas can do it. If Zbo/Gasol take Aldridge out of the game, Portland is fishing after 5 games. Their bench is already decimated.

Out of the two I would say Dallas has the best shot to pull an upset. It all depends on how healthy Memphis is or not? Portland might steal a few games but they are pretty banged up themselves.

Column: Hawks, Warriors Have Plenty of Playoff Doubters

They won 60 games, which is the accepted NBA standard of greatness. They blew away everyone else in the Eastern Conference — including you, LeBron James.

Yet, there's hardly anyone outside Atlanta who believes the Hawks will make it to the NBA Finals, much less capture a championship.

They are the Rodney Dangerfields of these most unusual playoffs.

"No matter what we do, there's probably going to be people who don't believe in us," Hawks guard Kyle Korver conceded Friday.

They're not alone.

Golden State went 67-15 in the loaded Western Conference, a record bested or matched by only 10 teams in NBA history. Of those that previously accomplished the feat, eight went on to capture the title, which would normally lead us to believe that the Warriors are a heavy favorite.

Hardly.

"I think this is their best opportunity to get to the Western Conference finals," said Kenny Smith, the former player and now TNT analyst. "I'll leave it there. After that, there are too many variables."

He's forever the guy who picked the Blazers to beat the Spurs in 6 last year.

If the western conference is really as competitive as the media makes them out to be, then why do these picks seem so one sided? Looks like there is a clear favorite in every series.

With some all-stars like Durant, George, Bryant, Westbrook, Wade, Bosh, Garnett, etc. missing the post- season due to injuries or eliminations, this play-offs is an almost different ballgame. New coaches on top-seeded teams.
This is maybe the first time Derrick Rose is healthy, if not 100% for a long time and be able to play with his team in the playoffs. Emergenxe of future superstars -Davis, Curry, Harden Leonard.
Houston, Golden State, Clippers, Atlanta, Portland have 1st round home court advantage .and the reigning champs, on their quest to repeat but only at #6 ( with only Boston & Houston accomplished to win in history despite below #3 seeding) :(
You never know
IMO, the main ingredient here to survive or maybe make it to the finals besides experience, is HEALTH. You lose a star, it might change your destiny.

My picks : I am not an "expert"
East : Chicago or Cavaliers

West: Spurs ( :angel) or GSW

Mouth breather Windhorst too. The strain on the axles of the bandwagon is at its limit.
